I've seen these made before, but not painted. The glossy finish makes it look like metal, which I love. You can make huge designs that look like metal but are still lightweight! I have a vaulted ceiling in my dining room with a huge empty wall that is just begging for flowerslike this. Just on a much bigger scale. TFS 💙

I did these in 2011 after seeing them in a magazine I bought. Made about 6 or 8. After a year or two they got dented, so I threw them in the recycle bin. Two years ago I made a Ghost Face one. Last year I made Achmed the Dead Terrorist. This year I making a "V for Vendetta" Guy Fawkes mask, Alfred E. Neuman and Hank Hill. I've been using printed stencil patterns this time (the Ghost Face I drew myself) and I can honestly say, they are a lot harder to do on a hollow milk jug than a pumpkin. Thankfully, they turned out okay.

Question and comment I tried this I bought spray paint the clear paint figured I'd see you look first everything that I bought it did not work that paper just sucked up all the paint then I tried hand painting them even that paint just sucked up in the paper so tell me what you did to seal it before you made this item I've been trying for weeks to get this done and here it is the eve of Christmas Eve and I cannot get anything to work on these toilet paper roll so I'm heartbroken

After trying to find out how these were constructed, I realized, this is a picture of items that can be made from a Paid Site called Woodprix for specific plans and schematics on making furniture or whatnot. Thanks anyway 😁
